Protection doesn't work 100% of the time, just in case you were wondering. And if you thought it did, I think you need to stop having "protected sex" for the sake of everyone that would have to live with your accident of a child.

1. We have no idea how long they were together. There are plenty of couples who have very long term relationships and children, and are more or less married, but just don't have a piece of paper saying so. A lot of the time, they do just as well as married couples, if not better. Don't assume that only married people have kids and that anyone who's not married and has children are assholes. We also don't know how old she is, she could be in her late 20s/early 30s, have a job, and be fully able to support her child, and will be a fantastic parent. 2. It's funny how calling someone else a dumbass makes you sound like a dumbass, especially when you just say "You're a dumbass". 3. If that's what you think, why are you here? You could say that for just about every post on the site.

Ignore her. She posts her worthless comments on every FML. She only wants attention anyways. @OP I feel so sorry for you. However, I do agree that there is probably a larger problem that is causing him to turn tail. Saying he is scared to raise a child and is trying to run away is most likely hitting the nail on the head. If you want to save the relationship (not only for yourself but for the child), then talk to him and try to figure out exactly what the problem is and see if you both can work on it. If it can't be worked out, and you believe your a self-sufficient, independent women (which I am sure you are!), than bluntly inform the jackass that he will be supporting this child for the rest of his life regardless. 67, for being 31 years old, you're a complete moron. You realize birth control, condoms, etc aren't 100% effective, right? My boyfriend's cousin has 2 birth control babies. One of my aunts had her first daughter while on birth control. Plus, it wasn't stated whether the pregnancy was planned or not. For all we know, it was planned and the boyfriend is just a major douchebag. Now stfu.

A few weeks? That's it? When I had my first child, we didn't do anything for a few months I was so sore. The guy is an incosiderate asshole. Kick him out and find better.
