Today, I was out with my boyfriend, when he started browsing wedding rings. He found a ring, proposed to me right there in front of a crowd, and then was promptly denied a payment plan. We left without a ring. FML

my best friend's husband proposed to her with an onion ring. it's the thought that counts. too bad she didn't think about that when she made this an FML. poor guy. i almost hope she said no to him so that he can find a better girl who will actually appreciate the gesture.

My first thought was "That's sweet, as long as it's going to be followed up with a real ring" BUT then i was thinking why wouldn't he have a real ring ready to go, unless it was an impulsive thing to propose, which then FYL because it should be a thought out decision, not a spur of the moment type thing.
