If I was his friend, I would bloody well care. One is an adorable wise old Jedi, the other is a hobbit like creature that has slowly had his mind poisoned over 500 years by the most powerful object in Middle Earth.
Who da ef are Gollum and Yoda?
#71 its not like everybody is gonna know. I only know Gollum kinda because a reading course I was forced to take. If not for that, I'd not know. It's not like its a common sense thing without knowing them
I'm actually not kidding....seriously don't know who they are
For the love of God. Don't tell the FML community that! They will track you down! Sleep with one eye open tonight, just incase. ;)
I'm horribly upset after reading these comments. HOW have you NEVER heard of either? And how is it NOT common knowledge??? I feel sorry for everyone who doesn't know Gollum and Yoda. :/ You're missing out on the real epicness of life.
You forgot, one is way faster than the other. Hard to move quickly when you're 2 ft tall and have a cane.
What... Have you not seen Yoda when he fights? He's like a spinning ball of fury. Example of when he fights Count Dooku, while trying to save Obi-Wan and Anakin in Genosa
I may get severely thumbed down for this, but I feel like I have to write this. That is definitely an overreaction, and not a good one at that. It is embarrassing and yes, OP shouldn't have started talking about something she knows squat about, but when a girl shows interest in something and gets a fact wrong, what is the correct reaction: A- Freak out and never talk to her ever again or B- Teach her about it and convert her. Hmm. Just speaking from personal experience, my boyfriend taught me so much about classic rock bands and rock n roll history (it's more extensive than you might think!), and I taught him to love video games and I've even started showing him anime. I've gotten things wrong (mixed up Paul and George a few times) and so has he with video game/Harry Potter/etc. things, and we've just corrected each other and learned. I can honestly say he now knows more about DC and Marvel than I do! So the point is that one should not be shunned if they make a little mistake like that, especially when showing interest. Just teach them. It benefits them, and it benefits you :)
If she was expecting sympathy...I'm not giving it to her. I grew up watching the old Star Wars and the cartoon lord of the rings. I was appalled reading this.
Sorry that's worse than my wife mixing up star wars and star trek and calling chewie the big monkey

Not strong is the force in you, my precious.
Maybe you shouldn't join conversations if you don't know what they're talking about.
