If I say "you should" people get upset as sometimes a child comes along and they don't want to get rid of it just because they're not married.

YDI for having kids with someone so unreliable. Please people, if you are going to give it up for someone, make sure they are responsible enough to follow through and own up to the consequences of parenthood.
