Oh! He knows their dirty tricks! Did he tell you how metal filings are government listening devices? And the fluoride well brainwash you?
I mean, I go twice and year but unless you have a cavity it's really not necessary. I don't even know why I keep going. I think it's a scam too. Not a government scam obviously but insurance companies make money off of their customers when they go to the dentist.
It's prevention. I brush, floss and use mouthwash and my teeth are fine. However, when I go for my 2 times a year cleanings...I can still feel the dental tech finding little spots here an there of build up she scrapes away in my gum line. I like going to the dentist to get my teeth cleaned though.
Sure, and treat your own medical problems, be your own accountant and lawyer too! No need for trained professionals, right?
Wow, that's so paranoid! Seeing the dentist is just a way for the dentist to steal your money. Then, the government steals the money from him or her.
lolololol
As long as he brushes and takes care of his teeth there isn't a need to go to the dentist. I just recently went in for x-rays because I have 4 impacted wisdom teeth, and that was the first time I'd been to the dentist in 10 years. You know what they told me? My teeth are in wonderful condition (aside from the wisdom teeth of course) and I have no cavities. I don't know what the government would have to do with it, that part is a bit weird, but it isn't actually necessary to go to the dentist if you properly take care of your teeth.
#24, actually, there's a bit of genetic luck involved there, too. Some people can be meticulous about dental hygiene and still require regular dental work, and other blessed people can be less diligent and get away with it. It's too bad dentists can't be honest enough to let their more fortunate patients come in less often. It would give them more credibility.
That's true. I'm actually the only one in my family that hasn't had many problems with my teeth. Guess I'm the lucky one :)
Dentists take more courses in marketing now than ever before...that's the state the world economy is in now. Get all the money you can whether they need the services or not!!
As long as he brushes em 3-4 times a day. Is good.
Brushing that much can actually be bad... 2 times is good enough.
I haven't been to the dentist in about 6 years. My family couldn't afford it. I brush my teeth regularly and I have no pain. It doesn't make him gross as long as he brushes his teeth..

If he still takes care of his teeth I don't see why it matters.
He still brushes his teeth right? he doesn't use breath mints to cover his breath for 6 months?
