Today, my friend and I drove three hours to attend a U2 concert. We had been psyched about the tickets for weeks because they were awesome seats (my early Christmas present). After a long drive, we get to the venue and I realize in horror that I left tickets at home, on my desk, three hours away. FML

well... yeah. the overwhelming majority of people alive today are tremendous morons. the fact that they have terrible opinions with regards to what is actually enjoyable to listen to is not surprising in the least. OH wait i'm supposed to have an epiphany and realize i am totally wrong. hark! MILLIONS of fans, you say?! i do say, good sir, i have entirely reconsidered my previous stance on the issue and i cannot possibly compete with MILLIONS of fans!!! i have accepted u2 as the overlord of musical groups. truly, you have reformed me.

Indeed, the millions of fans are wrong. In a world where crap like Beyonce and Kanye West is popular, I wake up feeling sad that no one knows what real music is anymore. Try listening to bands that actually know how to play real instruments, and play them well.

U2 are actually quite talented musically. As a guitar player i can appreciate the edge's musical style because it stands out as somewhat original (at least it did 15 years ago). So, yes, he is talented... even if his name is dumb as hell. U2 is a good band that writes good solid rock music. I personally don't think they deserve the fame they get, but taste is like opinions, and you know that little thing about opinions and assholes yes?

k wow.. that is SO stupid, the whole point of the trip was the concert and you forget the tickets you definitely deserve it.... sucks for you though! i would've loved the tickets!
