Today, my friends and me had a little water balloon fight and somehow it led to throwing water balloons at cars. We all decided to hit a car all at once, after one came by we all hit it. The car stopped and started flashing bright blue lights. We ended up hitting an off-duty police car. FML

Why on earth would you throw projectiles at other people's moving vehicles? That's a dangerous and dickish thing to do. You utter, utter idiots. I hope you get a conviction that you have to explain to any future employers. #2 I don't know about whichever country this happened in, but if it were in mine I'm sure some kind of assault law, or vandalism, or SOMETHING that covers causing a danger on the roads, would cover it, if there isn't a direct "throwing projectiles at traffic" law.

You deserve that - you could cause someone to crash their car, think about what you're doing...

@ #17 Sure, if this kid is 13+ then they should know better. But kids are stupid these days. Nothing like when you were a kid? Because I bet you never did anything stupid even in your early teen years without thinking of the consequences. I was just saying from my personal experience of doing this when I was a kid I didn't think of the consequences at the aforementioned age. Your saying thats a lame excuse. I'm saying at the age I was at the time no it was not. As for the OP, no, he is probably older and probably an moron. Probably comes from inbreeding. But I'm sure you know all about that. ;-)

"But kids are stupid these days." Oh, so it's alright then is it? Yes, I did do stupid things when I was a kid. But I did them because I was stupid. I don't try to excuse myself and say that I did them because I was a kid. And that kind of excuse does not hold water for anyone in their teenage years. Teenagers DO know better, and if they don't think of the consequences of their actions it's because they are STUPID, not because of their age.

@ # 22 No it's not all right actually. In fact it is something that makes me weep for the future of this world. But what can you do? Can't round em up and kill all the little *****. Can't even raise a hand to them. If you have a more permanent solution I would love to hear it. If a kid is really stupid (ie: lacks common sense), then the obvious consequences are not going to be overly apparent to them. Add to that peer pressure and being a sheeple they will pretty much do anything before thinking of the consequences. Not an excuse, just walking you what probably went on here. Stupid kids being stupid kids, following some other kid who is even less of a bright spark who makes stupid suggestions that sound good at the time. Like I said in my very first post. He deserves that. In fact I hope the cop either locked them up for a few hours or talked to their parents. Get the little bastards off the streets.

#24 "Can't round em up and kill all the little *****." Or can you? ;-) What can we do about it? You gave a clue in the last part: "I hope the cop either locked them up for a few hours or talked to their parents". WRONG. You should hope that the cop treated him like he would have treated me if I, at age 24, had been throwing things at cars; prosecution and sentencing, likely a fine. A clip round the ear and talking to their parents is just telling kids/teens that they can get away lightly because they're young. Give them the same punishments that you give adults, and they'll HAVE to start acting mature, or find themselves behind bars. Simple. Age of responsibility should come at the age of ability; as soon as you are old enough to be out on your own without parents where you are able to throw things at traffic, then you should be old enough to be responsible for yourself.

#2 the name of the actual law falls under to california state law categories: First Law and name: Vandalism of State-To-Government Property and/or Vehicle Second Law and name: Traffic Violation, Unlawful Road Tampering

So you thought it would be funny to do something that would possibly kill someone? You little ***** deserved it.

Actually people, abstract thinking comes around age 12. That gives you the ability to see that your actions have consequences on several levels. But OP, YDI!

This isn't funny at all. A good friend of mine was seriously injured in a car wreck because some one ran over a piece of tire that then flew back and hit another car, which in turn swerved and hit him. Throwing things at a moving car could get someone killed. I hope you were punished for it you little ****.
