Today, my girlfriend broke up with me, saying I was immature for making gay jokes all the time. A few hours later, I got six texts and three calls from guys I didn't know. It turns out, she put my name and number on Craigslist as a gay man seeking a relationship. FML

Agreed, Carrot Top. Agreed. Saying gay jokes would imply that you are gay, even if the joke is funny. Not saying it would imply you're black if you said black jokes. That would be just weird.

though true in some ways, she was probably just trying to get him to stop making those jokes and realize how many gays couldve been offended by it. whether he was joking or not.

Gay jokes are what shove people in the closet. I would know. Hearing it as a laughable thing, something mocked. that is the closet. Those people build it.
