At least he cares op. I broke my leg at the park once and I had to limp to the hospital because everyone was too busy to drive me.
That's absolutely awful. I hope you cut all of those who said they were "too busy" out of your life. If my friend or family member needed to go to the hospital I would drop whatever it was I was doing (even work or school) to drive them. That's honestly terrible and I hope walking to the hospital didn't damage your leg further.
Surprised your grandpa knows how texting works. Time to put him in a rest home, tho.
Not all old people are technologically inept.
Only in the US...
Better that then if you actually were in trouble and nobody knew....
that's what you call family love wish my grandfather would do that
At least you know he cares about you
At least he cares that much
It's nice that grandpa cares about you to come check. To do it with gun in hand is the scary part. it doesn't seem to take much to get people to pull a trigger nowadays. Lo and behold if you had a friend leaving or something, they might have gotten shot
That was so sweet. That man loves you and wants to keep you safe. You are loved and very lucky.
I wouldn't even be annoyed, I'd hug him and thank him for his sincere care.

He just cares about you
No better alarm clock than a crazy old guy with a gun!!! You'll be out of your bed and out the door before you can say "Don't shoot me Gramps!"
