Today, my grandmother patched up my $300, vintage, limited edition, designer jeans because she thought I'd accidentally ripped them. FML

well thats what you get for buying $300 jeans.

Maybe now you can reflect on how absurd it is to spend $300 on Jeans that are ripped, simply because they are "trendy"...

The people who are yelling at this person for buying $300 need to be quiet. If the author of this wanted long lasting stylish jeans, and thats what they wanted to spend the money they earned on, then its none of your business. I feel bad for the author, it sucks they were ruined.

I doubt they are long lasting. hell, they are so flimsy, they got their first holes before they even arrived at the store. At this rate, they are dust a week after you shelled out that huge wad of cash for them

i understand it's the style but if there sewed up then why don't you just rip them up again. but your grandma was just trying to be nice try to understand.

I'm not saying you deserve to be punished for spending $300 on destroyed jeans, but I would never, ever associate myself with you, nor would I give you the time of day or call an ambulance if you were hit by a truck (driven by me).

wow i didn't know spending money on jeans was a crime.

@ilovethissite123 - Are you mentally retarded? There is no comparison between clothes and instruments. Fashion is an inane and frivolous industry full of useless, vain, vapid people. It produces nothing of value. At least music is a worthwhile endeavor and provides greater utility. Not to mention that $300 is a cheap to mid-level instrument.

who the hell spends $300 on jeans!?!?! thats insane.

Oh my GODDDD! Your life is like, totally ******! I like LIVE for my designer jeans, I don't know WHAT I would do if my grandmother, like, RUINED them! I'm like, so sorry! Hugs! xxoo They're ******* jeans. Get over it. Maybe you should've given the 300 dollars to someone who could've really used it.

#5 speaks the truth. you're ****** by money.
