Aspirin? Of all the benign meds to choose from, including a tic tac, he used nasty-tasting aspirin? That puts a little FYL into this YDI scenario.
It was for when he punched her in the face. :P
Surely that's a good thing? A bar that kicks out possible rapists seems like a good bar to be in. In all honesty, this would have been much worse if they saw it and believed him when he told them he was role playing (because then everybody could say that and get away with it) or if they had seen it and done nothing. It's better to face a misunderstanding than a dangerous situation. If you're going to role-play stuff like this, try to be a little more subtle. Don't blame other people for trying to keep you safe. Be grateful that there are people out there that are willing to confront potential rapists.
Not to mention...how easy would it be to accidentally slip it in the wrong drink? "What's that? Your drink was the martini on your right? I put it in the martini on your left. Who did I just drug?"
"Put Molly all in her champagne, she aint even know it. took her home and I enjoyed that, she aint even know it." That's why that was a bad idea.
Couldn't you have expected this? It's a good thing they called the cops.
First and foremost you don't drink and take aspirin, it's dangerous and even says so on the damn bottle, also it wouldn't have dissolved quickly, if at all, making your drink look and taste terrible. Why would you EVER think you'd get away with it, a good bar has trained staff looking for that type of thing! And above all there are groups/gatherings for kink/roleplay/ect that can help you pull off a fantasy in a legal and mindful manner, Google it for goodnesssakes! What if the bar called the cops? It would have escalated quickly to say the least. Research before you get kinky, and do it safely.
Speaking of doing research, you should do done of your own. Taking aspirin and alcohol together is safe, and there are even reports that aspirin can protect the liver from damage due to alcohol. You're thinking of paracetamol/acetaminophen (Tylenol) which should not be mixed with alcohol.
Wow calm down it's not like her husband was actually trying to harm her. Jesus christ. You obviously have no idea the meaning of "role play" he wasn't actually trying to get away with druging her. Some people...
44, it doesn't really matter that it was roleplay, because the bartender had no way of knowing that beforehand. Do you really think his response to seeing a man slip something in a woman's drink should be, "Well, I guess I'll leave them alone because they probably planned this together"? No, he saw what looked like a rape attempt and he took action to stop it. A bartender who's that alert has probably stopped quite a few real rape attempts.
who are any of you to decide what's right or wrong? if a couple shares a fantasy that's their business. that's not what this post is about. its about a fantasy getting ****** up. chill the **** out.
I kind of have to disagree, because logic and all that. It is fine if you have fantasies, but you need to be aware of reality while you do it. Women are drugged and raped every day (men too). The bar did the right thing kicking them out. The sad part is that Op wrote this with the same idea in mind, "fantasy got ruined, fml." I think people need to be aware of what their sexual needs do to others.
"If a couple shares a fantasy that's their business." It stops being just their business when they carry it out in public, amongst people who have no way of knowing that what looks like a crime is actually consensual.
Couldn't you have done that at home? Like you could've pretended to be on a regular date, just not in public. Also, I'm extremely glad that the bar kicked him out, 'cause that means they take drugging and date rape seriously in that they try not to let it happen. I'm sure if this had been a real situation and not a role play you'd be relieved that they had saved you from who knows what.

Beyond stupid. Honestly with all the women who get drugged and sexually assaulted, if I were a bar tender I'd throw him out. And there is no way I would believe he was "role playing".
Well, they were at least being cautious. What would of happened if this was real and not Role Playing?
