As a legitimate victim of this old trick, I would have done exactly the same thing the bartender did. Damn, I lost 50 bucks, my shoes and somehow, managed to wake up in my grandma's house...and discovered that I puked everywhere... Your husband is a freaking stupid, OP.

Ah rape culture, when it's a-okay to kick the women out who believe they've been drugged and when it's alright to role play a date rape, mocking the seriousness of the issue. Seriously, what the **** is wrong with you? If date rape is your and your husbands idea of something sexy and desirable, than there's something extremely wrong with both of you. 1 out of every 4 women will be a victim of rape or attempted rape during their lifetime. I bet those 1 in 4 would not appreciate you trivializing their traumatic experiences by acting like date rape is a fun, sexually exciting thing to try. It's not fun or exciting. It's hurtful, shameful (in this society anyway), and it's traumatic. You may not remember what happened, but you KNOW what happened to you. Then you have to worry about potential STDs or getting pregnant all because some jerk off had to show he had power over you. How dare you act like something so disgusting, something that's probably happened to someone you know, is a healthy, fun sexual fantasy?! I'm glad you two got caught and thrown out! You're husband was lucky that *all* he got was thrown out. Had I been the bar tender, I would have found a way to make sure the police got a hold of him. There are some things you don't take chances one. Next time you want the date rape fantasy, keep it at home.
