He should probably get lost forever next time.
Wait, the police believed him? How are you posting an FML from jail?
I feel your pain I didn't know my father until I was 14, and went to live with him for awhile to get to know him better, it consisted of him being permanently drunk, telling me how awful my mom is, and getting beer bottles and his fists thrown at me, worst part is no one believed me, because he was such a "great" guy, I haven't been in contact with him since. Sorry to get a little serious FMLers, but I felt I had to share, abuse is never okay, or a joking matter.
^ Completely agree with you, GoW. Dealt with abusive drunks before, and I see so little humour in your related past with your father. Home is supposed to be the place you feel loved and safe at, not afraid and alone. :( I get the impression that OP might be an independent adult, someone who can legally choose not to be involved with his father. Hoping that anyways. And I'm not really religious, but I believe there must be a special place in Hell for child abusers, especially the sexual abusers. I can think of no worse act. :( Sorry for taking serious to a whole new level. :( My rant's over.
Wow dude! So sorry, his not Worth your time and your heart :(
How did he find you?
