Your whole family forgot your sisters birthday but you're on here pining for support? How must she feel, knowing that her family didn't deem her birth important enough to remember let alone celebrate.

It might not necessarily be that they forgot. It could be they just didn't realize it was TODAY. I've "forgotten" my boyfriends birthday the past 2 years but it's not that I forgot I know when it is I just didn't realize what day it was when it actually came (I rarely pay attention to the actual date now that I've finished school)

Why is everybody bitching out on not remembering a birthday? Nobody ever remembers my birthday and I don't give a crap. Also I totally forget about it, so I can't bitch out on anybody anyway.

You're writing and FML because you're family and you are all assholes who didn't even remember your sisters birthday... Yeah I would feel the same way, you guys being unworthy and all. That's horrible.

The only way I remember my mom and brothers birthdays are because my brothers is 2 days after mine and mom is 4 days after him. Other than that I have very bad memory. So here's a tip: use calendars or such and set reminders.

Personally, I don't need to celebrate my own birth with no more than cake, close friend/friends and fun-and that is when everything pans out-, that'll be more than enough. Though, honestly, if my family was completely oblivious on my birthday, I'd be really dissapointed.

I don't understand how an entire family can forget a birthday. That's really sad for OP's sister.. I hope she's okay and they make it up to her somehow.
