If your parents don't give her hell, here's what you got to do. When they're in a room with her, casually stop by the doorway and ask if you can "borrow" her (as in, "may I borrow susie for a moment?") as though you want to ask her a question. When you have her alone, beat the crap out of her and when your parents complain, tell them "You SAID I could borrow her!"
LOL. Yes, Lyndis.
FYL because a guitar is a magical thing and shouldn't be destroyed by anyone, but personally, no one touches my guitar except my luthier and me. Too much to lose there. And if you gave her an old one because you suspected she would destroy it, why are you complaining?
"she told me she used one of my old guitars". Implies to me that maybe it was a student model or one that OP wasn't using any longer. I said "if". "If" someone were to give someone an instrument and suspected they might damage it, wouldn't it be an old one you wouldn't be too disappointed if it broke? HS band instrument rentals work that way - freshmen get the old clunkers, seniors get the newest.
Kurt Cobain.
Pete Townshend
And look at how well that worked for Kurt...

Hope your parents can talk some sense into her though i hold little hope for that. Seriously, does she have no respect for others property? Since when did "You can borrow it" become "Do whatever you want with it?". Maybe I'm old fashioned (yet I'm only 20) but to me "You can borrow it" means "You can use it but please be carefull with it".
Tell her you want to teach her how to do it properly and use her head. =D
