Today, none of my 500 Facebook friends responded to my status about "who wants to hang out during summer holidays?" I created an imaginary person on a different account to respond and ask me to hang out with him. I had a conversation on my status, with myself. FML

Today, I hung out with a friend who has been too busy to hang out with me in a few months. I decided to make the day super special with fun plans and spent a lot of money doing so. When I got home, her Facebook status said, "Pointless day, gone to bed." FML

Today, I received a message on Facebook from a guy I've liked for a year. He asked me if I wanted to hang out, so I said yes. When I walked out to his car later on, he gave me a really confused look. Apparently I was on my brother's Facebook, and he'd never logged out. FML

Today, I felt left out by the fact that all my friends are getting married or have great relationships, and my boyfriend won't commit. wow i'm sorry. this makes me sad. you shouldn't feel bad that no one commented on your status, no one ever does that. but it was totally unnessesary to invent a fake friend... agreed that it is annoying how everyone uses the word 'proceeded'

500 friends doesn't mean much if most of them are people that you barely know. Also, it's pathetic that you had to make a fake person to talk to yourself. YDI.

Don't let it get you down. I've found out that many of my friends on facebook (even friends I've known for years) won't ever see most of my statuses, sometimes wont even respond to comments I leave them. Chances are it's not because they don't like you, they probably just don't like Facebook. I'm liking fb less and less every day. I'm assuming you know atleast SOME of those 500 people in real life, and they would be willing to hang out if you picked up the phone and called them? If not, then definitely FYL.

Here's the thing...everyone knows that you don't have 500 friends...in fact...anyone could guess it and say you don't even have 100. You might know them...but I doubt you even know all 500 of those "friends"..Stop trying to act like you got friends..and maybe try to make some REAL ones that you didn't make...
