The only people I'm friends with on facebook are my friends IRL and people who I went to HS with and lost touch with because I moved. You shouldn't have 500 friends on facebook, because there's no way you know all of them. And I never reply to status messages like that either.

Don't worry if nobody responded to your status - barely any people would even have the chance to see it - it's only by a small chance that it would appear on someone else's news feed, and an even lower probability that they would even get a chance to see it before it moves down the list. But if you think people constantly check your facebook profile then you're a lost case, but otherwise, don't worry because very few (and probably none of your close friends) saw it to begin with. Facebook statuses and mass messages are the worse way to get a message through to plan something. Call up your friends.
