the p.e.m.d.a.s sounds retarded the p is for parenthesis---E is for exponents----M is for MULTIPLICATION---D is for decimals---- A us for adding---S IS FOR SUBTRACTION learned in the 2nd grade lol works perfect

Actually... it's not the teacher that's the problem, its the whole school system. I transferred from a school in Canada, to the USA about 19 years ago when I was in grade 11... and it's not the teacher, it's the system. I managed to do wayyy better than the other students in my class. The work was easy, and I was in the higher classes too. The USA is just lazy when it comes to education. I mean, sure, there's harvard, yale, oxford, but you have to work your ass off to get there. That's why I choose to not raise my kids in the USA for that exact reason. I ended up moving back to Canada after grade 11 just to get a better grade and harder work. You can ask any Canadian about the difference between both countries... huge difference regarding education.
