Today, someone broke into my house. They stole my TV, DVD player and a few DVDs. However they only took about 2 out of 100 DVDs. Apparently that's how bad my taste is in movies. FML

The same thing happened to me when my house got robbed, took a ps3 and wii, also took shitty games like wall-e but left things like resident evil 5 and super smash bros. Ah well, I hope you had insurance :/

who cares? the one watching the movies is uou, if you like them whatever

yeh ill tell you from the rest of the world we dont steal gay porns lol there all yours

I would make sure you get the police to take careful fingerprints on those DVDs, especially if the thief/thieves pulled them out and rifled through them. CDs/DVDs or the jewel cases retain great fingerprints, and the chances are good the little ***** are already in the system. My car was broken into and whoever did it pulled my CD storage case where I keep some older CDs and went thru them, and I could see where they left their fingerprints on them (guess they didn't like Madonna or Prince, lol). Police wouldn't fingerprint, tho. Guess I didn't lose enough stuff. Wish I could have done it privately and nail the sneaky ******.

I think this means its time to upgrade to a blu ray player

NeYou're complaining because...only two of your hundred DVDs were stolen? What the hell is wrong with you?

What makes it worse is that now you're stuck with about 98 DVDs, but no DVD player. That is just cruel and unfair punishment.

Or maybe the robber has a taste in movies.

Well he already stole your TV and dvd player. Maybe he just couldn't carry the rest...

Ha ha! I had something similar happen once. A "friend" of mine broke into my house and stole my Playstation, my Playstation 2 and all my Playstation 2 games. He didn't steal the original Playstation games however. Not because they were bad games (they were better than the crap on the PS2 at the time in fact) but because they were old and their resale value wasn't high enough to make it worth stealing them. He wanted to sell the stuff for drug money, he didn't want the stuff itself. Things like videogames and DVDs just don't hold their value (as a legitimate item or as stolen goods) once they become obsolete. If you had had all the same movies (however bad they may be) on BlueRay you can bet he would have stolen them all.
