Today, two customers complained about the shitty service they received from my coworkers. I apologized and asked about the complaint. Their issues were legitimate and I promised to pass them on. They demanded to speak to my manager and my coworkers got in trouble. Now they think I'm a snitch. FML

Then they shouldn't have been shitty workers

You did your job OP. Don't worry about what they say or think :)

Been through this before with my coworkers, but I'm a CNA. I had to report an incident to the nurse because it was something that could have been life threatening & now my coworker that I reported thinks I'm a huge bitch. I've learned that if they're that shitty at their job then it's not worth your time to feel bad about it. Keep doing a great job, op!

You are in no way a snitch, you merely complied with the customers request to speak to your manager. If they were doing the job correctly none of this would happened. They not only made themselves look bad, they made the company look bad. What they think is moot, you did the right thing.

if you lived up to the promise you made the customers you would base been the snitch anyway.

Snitches get stitches, so watch your back...

You aren't at work for friends you are there to work. I would tell the others you followed protocol and you expect them to do the same.

that was going to happen regardless. if you're not the manager, you're not the one who should be receiving the complaint.

Well, it serves them right for getting in trouble if the customers' complaints were legit. If those coworkers had done their jobs (and done them well), they wouldn't be in trouble. They have no one to blame but themselves. Good for you taking care of the situation.

Calling someone a snitch is a really stupid excuse that five year olds made up to try to justify their being ******* idiots.
