Today, two customers complained about the shitty service they received from my coworkers. I apologized and asked about the complaint. Their issues were legitimate and I promised to pass them on. They demanded to speak to my manager and my coworkers got in trouble. Now they think I'm a snitch. FML

Then they shouldn't have been shitty workers

You did your job OP. Don't worry about what they say or think :)

I feel for you but having to deal with "high school" co workers is nonsense no one should have to deal with. You won't win by hiding customer complaints & doing what's right is the ultimate best choice. Keep your chin up, keep doing what you know is right & you will come out on top on the long run. Worst case scenario - have a talk with your boss & let them know. At the end of the day, their approval is the only one that will do you real benefit regardless.

Their approval or disapproval is a moot issue. You were all hired to do a job with a given set of expatactions. If they neglected to meet them it was your obligation to report them. They not only made themselves look bad, they made the company look bad.

I know this feeling. I've worked as a server and had coworkers do shitty jobs and I came by to help their tables and sometimes ended getting tipped by those tables which they were pissed about.

Your co-workers should understand that they aren't at high school anymore. If you don't perform at your job at the expected level, you get replaced.

You did nothing wrong, they're clearly too incompetent to be good employees.

Customers are the lifeline of a business. No customers, no jobs. Escalating a customer complaint to management is the right thing to do. If you are the source of that customer complaint, you either shape up or ship out.

Don't you just adore co-workers that don't do their job -_-

You are a snitch. But that is what comes with the territory of doing the right thing, people hating you for it. Which is why alot of people dont do the right thing or allow people to do bad things, they don't want to be disliked or hated. If more people applauded those who do right, the world would be a better place. So bravo sir, bravo.

I have not heard this title of "manger" op.
