Today, I was fiddling with a ring my aunt hand made me, accidentally slipping it off, and dropped it in the toilet. Like an idiot, I scrambled to get it out only for my bending over to activate the automatic flush. FML

Today, after just having used the bathroom, my ring fell in the toilet. After stealthily removing it with a toothbrush, I went to go wash it in the sink. It then fell down the drain. FML

Today, while pooping at work, I was scrolling through social media. I dropped my phone in the toilet and the automatic flusher engaged, flushing my phone halfway into the pipes, which then flooded the toilet. I had to call maintenance and explain what happened to retrieve phone. FML

Today, I accidentally dropped my engagement ring down a sewer. To my surprise, the sewer water was frozen and my ring sat on top. During my efforts to retrieve it, I had to watch as the ice slowly melted due to the warm day. The ring sank further and further until it was completely gone. FML

Today, I was changing my shirt in the bathroom when I dropped it. It fell on my foot, so I decided to flip it up with my foot instead of bending down to get it. I flipped it, and it landed in the toilet. Which somebody had not flushed. FML

I always take my rings off and put them in my purse or pocket before doing anything. Hopefully the ring was insured and that your fiancé will understand.

Ydi. If the ring was big you could either a)Go get it resized, usually for free b)Wrap string around it to get it to stay snug, or c) not wear it until it fits, either by gaining weight, or doing above said things.

YDI for not having a ring that fits. But, that does suck. I'm sorry. I can't tell you how many rings I've lost because most store don't make the right size for me. I have baby hands.
