Today, I was babysitting. The kids were thirsty, so I poured them both a cup of the green juice I'd found in a jug in their fridge. They downed it in a flash. It wasn't until later on after I'd poured myself a cup and taken a sip, I realized I had given them margarita mix. The kids are 4 and 2. FML

Bad babysitter

Today, I was babysitting a 9-year-old kid, when she got thirsty and asked for a drink. All I could find was some kind of Mexican fruit drink, but I didn't realize until too late that it was actually hard liquor. I had to scrub her mouth out with toothpaste and put her to bed to cover it all up. FML

Today, I really had to pee while babysitting. Normally this isn't a problem, except the kids were sleeping and going potty would wake them up right before their parents were due home. Desperate, I decided to pee in a cup in the kitchen and wash it down the sink. Their parents came home mid-stream. FML

Today, my daughter ran up to me and gave me a cup. She said it was lemonade that she made with her friend. When I took a sip, she giggled and ran back to her room. It was not lemonade. FML

Today, someone drank a sip of my single serve pasteurized orange juice and put it back in the fridge, ignoring the whole jug of non-pasteurized juice, that I cant drink because im pregnant. I cried. FML

Today, while babysitting, the oldest little girl who is 7 went through my purse. She pulled out a half empty bottle of lube. She asked what it was and I told her lotion. I went to the bathroom and when I came out, the bottle was empty and there were 4 kids covered in lube. Then their mom came home. FML

Today, I was looking in the refrigerator for something to drink. I found a jug of lemonade with a piece of paper on it saying "Mom's Lemonade, Don't Drink!" I was really thirsty, so I ignored it and drank the whole jug. My mom is about to have a colonoscopy and had filled it with laxatives. FML

I think that would kind of be the parent's fault. If the kids are that young they shouldn't just have it sitting in the fridge. Though, it is partially OP's fault also. Who gives kids random green juice from the fridge? Shouldn't you have at least tasted it first?

Um...for all the people saying no big deal because margarita mix doesn't have alcohol in it--SOME mixes do! Yes, there are some that you add the tequila in later, but there are some that already contain the alcohol. Also, if it was in a jug in the refrigerator, the parents could have already mixed the alcohol in.

if it had alcohol in it then the parents are at fault for child endangerment. tell them that you won't turn them in to CPS if you get 20$ per hour from now on.

are you ******* kidding me? gues what kids can have ******* water, orange juice clearly marked Orange Juice, soda, fruit packets. before they would touch the mysterious green juice, and your a ******* idiot becuase parents are allowed to have alcohol in the house if they serve it to the children then yes thats endangerment but OP giving it to the children might be a fine in some states. are you reatarded by any chance 101? cuz i dont what ******* law you are looking at but keeping alcohol in the house is not part of it and my parents had very little alcohol in the house and my dad was a cop. I didnt ******* touch it cuz it wasnt something I wanted.

so what? margarita mix doesn't have alcohol in it, its just the mix that you add to the alcohol to...anyways, YDI fo not making sure what the drink is...be lucky it was a drink at all!!!it could of been some random crap that needed to be cooled...why would you grab a container of something for them to drink when you didnt even know what it was? thats like someone drinking a chemical to see if it was deadly...-_- and for everyone whos saying "it was the parents fault for having alcohol in the house" i'm sure the parents would think the baby sitter would be smart enough to not give them some random stuff in the fridge... thats a definate YDI
