Hardly a big deal. It's margarita MIX. If you meant to say that it was a margarita I'd say it's the parents' fault for leaving booze in the fridge without either labeling it or letting you know.
just sugar and water. not alcohol. my friends and i were just having a conversation about how we would drink marguerita mix straight when we were little.
We have a bottle of hose quervo margarita mix in our fridge (it's green also) and it doesn't have any alcohol in it. Chances are if it had you would know, because it would have made them pretty much pass the **** out (at almost 100 pounds one margarita makes me sleepy). Although, they probably would have said it tasted bad and not drank it in the first place. The younger you are, the more tastebuds you have (that's why baby food has no taste). I will say, some margarita stuff is the mix AND the tequila together.
I seriously think it's just the mix... The kids would've thrown up in a flash if it were loaded.

I think that would kind of be the parent's fault. If the kids are that young they shouldn't just have it sitting in the fridge. Though, it is partially OP's fault also. Who gives kids random green juice from the fridge? Shouldn't you have at least tasted it first?
margarita mix has no alcohol in it. Its just concentrate. they are fine
