lots of people with college degrees and they can't find decent work. don't sweat it
Damn
YDI. Enough feeling sorry for yourself and the entitlement mentality already! Obviously you did not meet the standards the institutions you applied to are looking for. Do you think you are too good to work at a fast food restaurant? Your Mom doesn't and neither does everyone who does not know you. Now, take a deep breath, step back from the situation and gain some perspective. You didn't get what you wanted. How about this for a long term plan: Get a part time job (McD will do), go to the local community college and make some new friends. Do two years there and other opportunities will open up if you apply yourself. Went down this road myself and then transferred to a major U. Guess what? NOBODY cares where you did the first two years. NOBODY. In the big picture it is a nonissue. So, get over yourself and focus on what you can do. If you can't work your way up that way, then a university education is not for you anyway. Take another deep breath. Now, drive on with it or become another loser.
No point in trying. No-one's hiring these days.
Cheeseburger University!
You could always get accepted at South Harmon Institute of Technology

Hey, don't worry. Maybe you'll get burned by the oil from the chips and then have a life-changing enlightenment, which will push you to get into Harvard and become a billionaire. Then again... Maybe not.
