Today, a bunch of my friends have been accepted to various colleges while I've been denied by the past 5. To cheer me up, my mom drove me to McDonald's. While we were in the drive-thru, she asked them if they had any job openings. FML

Hey, don't worry. Maybe you'll get burned by the oil from the chips and then have a life-changing enlightenment, which will push you to get into Harvard and become a billionaire. Then again... Maybe not.

I can't see how you don't deserve this. If all those colleges rejected you, you must have slacked off in high school or flunked the ACT or something. Your mom is just trying to salvage the situation as best she can.

**** McDonald's, start off at a community college for something basic if you can't start big. I got my CMA in less than a year so now I have a good starter career in the medical field so ill have a great job when I DO go for a 4+ year degree, and be better off than everyone that started off at a 4 year college working at starbucks. you'll be okay OP!

how about community college? :) yeaahhh my teacher always says we're too young to jump into a 4 year university that we should explore life.
