Today, a bunch of my friends have been accepted to various colleges while I've been denied by the past 5. To cheer me up, my mom drove me to McDonald's. While we were in the drive-thru, she asked them if they had any job openings. FML

Hey, don't worry. Maybe you'll get burned by the oil from the chips and then have a life-changing enlightenment, which will push you to get into Harvard and become a billionaire. Then again... Maybe not.

McDonald's is actually a pretty good thing to have on your resumé. If you can get a job there, take it. Also, do as the other posters say and go to community college. You can do both OP. Unless you were rejected from there too...in which case, you probably deserve it.

I got rejected/deferred by a lot of schools too, but by the time April came around I gained some acceptances just be patient. Besides you could always go to community college for a year or two if it doesn't work out now.
