I would never feed/give anything to a babysitting/elderly client if I didn't know what it was. Did she ask for that drink? If so, then she knew what she was doing and played a trick on you. Otherwise, you can stick with milk or water. Hopefully her parents aren't too mad, but I'm wondering why they were storing liquor in the house if they didn't want her to experiment. Sorry, But I know of a 16-year-old who was left home alone for TWO HOURS and gave herself alcohol poisoning. First thing they wanted to know after she was stabalized was, "What were you doing leaving her home alone with liquor in the first place?"
Wait...what? Because the parents had alcohol in the house they must have WANTED her to experiment? What the hell kind of logic is that??? They had liquor in the house because it was THEIRS and I'm sure they enjoy drinking it because they are ADULTS and can do so, I'm pretty positive the last thing they wanted was their 9 year old drinking it. So, according to your theory...because I have beer in my refrigerator, I must want my 2 year old and 4 year old to "experiment". You have a sick mind.
The girl is 9 YEARS OLD, not 16. She probably didn't even know what it was when OP gave it to her. And your logic is stupid, people don't keep alcohol in the house because they want their kids to experiment, they keep it because they are adults who want to enjoy a drink every now and then.
You should always be upfront with the parents. Sometimes accidents happen but lying is on purpose.
If the bottle has a cork then I wouldn't recommend giving it to a child...
I wonder what illustrations were on the packaging?
Ever heard of water?
Umm couldn't you find water in the tap?
If the label of a bottle of drink is in a foreign language you should probably do a taste test before giving it to small children.
really? were you two somewhere where water isn't a thing that exists?

That could actually be dangerous. You need to pay attention or find another line of work.
