Today, I woke up with the flu that causes me to throw up violently until I dry heave and can't breathe. I told my mom I would rather have the runs, and not even a minute later, I got them. So now if I move too fast, I throw up, and if I don't move fast enough, I shit myself. FML

Whatever you do, do NOT make a sarcastic comment about getting a urinary tract infection and/or tapeworms!

A fort in the bathroom with a can of frebreze.

You are the creator of your own life experience, and as the creator of your experience, it is important to understand that it is not by virtue of your action, not by virtue of your doing-it is not even by virtue of what you are saying-that you are creating. You are creating by virtue of the thought that you are offering. You cannot speak or offer action without thought-vibration occurring at the same time; however, you are often offering a thought-vibration without offering words or action. ~~~SO, Careful what you say or even THINK~!

I know how u feel. I got that on christmas this year. the next day I was completely fine.

once I had a bad case of the flu and my shit stunk so bad that after I dropped duce, the stench would make me puke!  not fun

Just so you know, you had food poisoning. According to the CDC, there is no such thing as the 24 hour flu, so if it was just one day and your symptoms include vomiting and diarrhea, it's food poisoning.

I don't think the OP said it was only one day. My family had it for 1-2 days of puking with diarrhea for the next day or 2. Also, there was about a one day incubation period between getting exposed and the onset of the vomiting. Only thing that leads me to believe that it was such a case is that it sounds like he was vomiting before the diarrhea ever came into play.

I can see how that would be an automatic response!

You do not have any form of the flu. The flu is respiratory. You have food poisoning, or a gastrointestinal virus.

Not all forms of the flu are respiratory. My job is to code these diseases and it is manditory that I know what symptoms are a part of different diseases. There is a seperate code for, "Influenza with resiratory manifestations."
