Today, I went to Tiffany's to exchange a bracelet my boyfriend had given me for our year anniversary. It was the first gift that he actually spent money on me for. The sales lady then told me that the bracelet was not a real Tiffany's item. FML

Today, I went into hysterics and started crying when my boyfriend pulled out a Tiffany's box at dinner. Then I found out he'd used the old box to make the $15 earrings he bought seem more "special." FML

Today, my boyfriend came over with a broken engraved bracelet that I paid 50 dollars for. I was so angry but when I stated "I am going to call them and get a new one!" my boyfriend said back to me "No it's okay, I didn't really like it anyways." It was for our 2 year anniversary. FML

I agree with #65. Especially because of your "it's the first thing he's actually spent money on" comment. And haha you must know how to edit because I no longer see the bracelet turning into a necklace. Nice try, I still think it's bullshit. #21 - I'm a guy. I always notice if my girlfriend wears/doesn't wear something I've got her. I can still identify each piece that I bought her - and yes, she does wear them. Now, normally, I get her to help me pick what she wants so that we can both be happy, but that's a little besides the point. We're not all like that. Stop being so sexist, maybe you'll actually meet someone nice for a change if you take the time to have some respect.
