Don't be this guy!

By clueless - This FML is from back in 2014 but it's good stuff - United States - Irvine

Today, I realized that when a girl asks what your plans are for Valentine's Day and you say, "Nothing" and she responds with, "Oh, I don't have any plans either", it means she wants you to take her out. It took me three months to figure that out. FML

right! Have you never seen a romantic comedy or any TV show in February? Ask her, its not too late.

sometimes things just dont click. we dont apply it as being interested, but more towards making conversation. i hope you can redeem yourself and just take her out anyway. if shes still interested she will say yes. good luck :-)

So after I did a girl I friend zoned her. Found out 14 months later that she still had major feelings for me. Didn't know until she straight up told me (after I had already told her I felt about another girl). So don't feel too bad about it. Girls are weird.

Yeah a lot of girls are "read between the lines" type. Something similar happened to me and I had no idea she had feelings. But ask her out now. Maybe you can salvage it

#116 so start sucking. It ain't gonna suck itself.

35 - that's so not true. I feel bad for your gf's if you dont even return the favor

But yeah! It's not too late. Explain how clueless you were. Likely she will find it endearing!

its a bit obvious that she wanted to go out with you, try to make it better maby buy her a bouquet of flowers?

and write on a card: "Sorry I'm so oblivious.. Be my belated valentine?"

Not obvious at all because the same thing happened to me. I asked the girl out and I got rejected.

Then re-do it! Ask her out for dinner or something and make it all Valentine-like romantical :) Better late than never!

I might be a little early for this but June know where I'm heading with this one. If you say you don't, then July-ing.

Explain to her your mistake jokingly and take her out to dinner now.

He should just ask her out without explaining anything.. She might be turned off by the fact that he got her extremely obvious hint 3 months later.

And cut back on the selfies... otherwise you may have caught this in the first place

You should do something really sweet, like get her a late V-day card and write "sorry it took me so long, i had to find the perfect card" on the inside.

Just make sure it is the best Valentine's Day card ever. Since you've "waited" this long, you have to go over-the-top. Otherwise, it may appear as if you got the first Valentine's Day card you could find, and that may not go too well.

At his rate, it might take him 'til next Valentine's Day to find the right card.

Best bet is to make your own card

Ask her what her plans are for friday night. But this time I suggest when she says nothing, you ask her out.

Unless it's an unplanned pregnancy in which case being late isn't a good thing.

God knows why we women must be so complex... Perhaps this girl has learnt something too. It's not 1955 - we girls can actually ask guys out!!!

This actually happened to me. A girl was really interested in me but never showed it. I was a bit interested, but since she acted a bit cold around me I threw the idea away. Later found out that she believed that it was the mans job to work hard to court the lady in question. She refused to even give me a hint, because as a man, that was my job. She got really upset about it aswell and angry at me....
