Today, a police officer came to talk to the kids at my workplace. He asked what they wanted to hear about first. A group of them shouted, "The donuts, tells us about the donuts." Apparently these idiots are the future of my country. FML

Well, the children do actually have a point. I mean, the first thing you always want to know about any job is its compensation. And we all know police officers all over always end up with "hundreds and thousands".

I just realised I might have misinterpreted the 'kids' in the FML. I thought OP's workplace consisted of teenagers. Oops. :) If these were in fact children, then yes, you are overreacting OP. Did you expect them to ask about monthly wages and life 'on the force'?

Actually on the contrary, I have just been ******* with you this whole time to see how far this could go. My experiment worked perfectly, and thank you for being my test subject. And what would your enlightened older generation have asked about? Police brutality? The counterproductive DARE program? What? They're just kids. I'm actually surprised that they didn't ask about high speed chases and shootouts. With the violence in today's media, I thought that would be the only thing they'd care about.
