just paint over it again, it's not like you need to repaint the whole wall

If the wall paint is light color the darker marker will show thru. Unless, of course, the paint has some sort of primer in it.

Actually even if its a dark color and u repaint it ther will be a big dark spot and the other parts of the wall will be regular color
