Just take it & replace it with a similar one. He's a guy--he'll never know the difference.
Shame on you for thinking just because he's a guy he won't notice the ol switcheroo on his cat...I'm a guy & I'd know..all of you who think that it's right to just take his cat ought to be slapped....I was devastated when an old judge (with a hard on for my ex) awarded her my cat as well as my apartment after I put a restraining order on her for abusing my cat & admitting to the judge that she had indeed threatened to throw my cat out of a 2nd story window (tied up so it couldn't land properly)..OP & some of the rest of the people here need some serious psychological help.

You never had custody of the cat in the first place seeing as it's your boyfriends cat and not yours.
I can't tell whether OP used poor wording or is actually self-centered enough to believe that she actually has some rights to the cat. I'm personally leaning towards the second one, considering how selfish she is for remaining in the relationship so that she can see his cat.
