I'm guessing your French since your profile doesn't specify, but I will enlighten you. Bacon is an American delicacy. And as far as popular foods from around the world is concerned, I will take bacon over Foie Gras or Ortolan any day. And don't even get me started on those nasty Asian foods. French people were so obsessed with eating this poor tiny bird that it nearly went extinct and it is now illegal to eat it. That's not even the bad part it is HOW it was prepared then eaten. What they do to the geese for Foie Gras is the most repulsive thing I've ever heard of. Here in America we love bacon!!!!Atleast the majority does and in a Democratic society majority rules!
