ALL dreams, including the wet ones are just a way for your subconcious to sort things out. It doesn't mean the EX was hotter or better in bed or that you aren't over her. Learn to control what happens in your dreams. It's called Lucid Dreaming and anyone can do it. You just have to learn to recognize you are dreaming and change it to suit you.

As someone studying to become a clinical psychologist, this is how I see it- it's not that he's still sexually attracted to his ex, his wife isn't as hot etc. its about the life change he is experiencing. Marriage is a huge step in life and a huge adjustment psychologically. In part, he might be mourning the loss of his freedom and his ex represents his freedom as he wasn't married to or "tied down" by her in such a way as marriage. I wouldn't worry OP, give it time and this will work itself out, its a natural part of adjusting to a major life change.

Why would you marry someone whom your going to be married for a lifetime, and dream about your ex? You , honest to god have to get over your ex, so you can have a great marriage.

It's not like he dreampt about his ex on purpose, thats how your making it seem. Dreams just happen. You cant always control what your dreaming about.
