Usually they are lead by and think with the smaller head that has a mind of its' own, yet no brain to speak of. And the one perched atop their neck? Purely for show, as it rarely gets used & probably hasn't had the little plastic tab pulled out to complete the power circuit so it can be utilized.

Hard to say. If he didn't ask you out/ or you didn't he was probably under the assumption you guys weren't officially dating and that this was ok. If you made it clear you wanted a committed relationship that is one thing, but you gotta be clear.

My cousin has a guy she's been sleeping with for almost a year, but he's definitely NOT her boyfriend, and he sleeps with other girls when he wants to, and she with other guys if she wants to. That's the arrangement they have. It actually IS important to discuss these things and not just assume you're in a relationship if you're sleeping with someone. It may sound stupid to ask someone if you're now in a relationship, but it's a good idea. I'm just wondering if that could be the problem here...

We only have Op's side here....it IS possible that she considered him her monogamous boyfriend, even if they had not officially decided on it together. She may have assumed he saw the situation the same way. Unless they definitely were in an established relationship, it's not eeenntirelyyy awful that the guy did what he did. Not that Op deserves it either, however....
