I would have punched him so hard that it would have knocked a few brain cells loose. Perhaps they would have fallen into place because he's clearly not operating on a logical scale.

You should have already instilled fear into other females. I apparently do and people are scared to go up to my fiance or even talk to him a certain way. xD

Why should we have to instill fear in other females? That kind of possessive/jealous attitude is a worry. A picture paints a thousand words, but a look can speak volumes.

Op should not have had to say or do anything!!! This amount of stupid is making my head hurt. It was one of the 10 commandments for heavens sake! 'Thou shalt not commit adultery' I'd like to know when Op went out somewhere with the guy & he introduced her to people for the first time, how did he do it? What "title" (for lack of a better word atm) did he bestow upon her? "So and so, meet Op, my girlfriend/partner/friend/housemate/fwb/neighbor/other half/better half..... The ball and chain? My old lady?.... ." When you're in a relationship with someone, it's because you love them, want them around, make you happy, a mutual respect between two people... If he's gone out and actively sought out someone to have an affair with, then he wasn't as happy with the r'ship as you were. I wonder, when was the last time you sat down together & talked? Like you used to when you first started "dating" him? Talk about everything & nothing? How can I put this.... A relationship is a basic platform; like a new car but it only comes with the basics. If you want extras or specific additions/subtractions, alterations, customizations, they need to be discussed and 'approved' by both parties before the green light is given to proceed. A r'ship is hard work, it's a constantly changing force powered by an unpredictable fuel cell that has a tendency to spontaneously combust, die out, fade away even just stop dead in its tracks. You enter into a relationship with someone because you don't want to see them with anyone else, you want that extra special gem inside that nobody else can get. I'm sorry you were betrayed by someone you trusted the most Op. it may seem like cold comfort now, but time heals all wounds. You may have a scar where that wound was, but that just shows that your a survivor. Look after yourself Op

"So and so meet (OP'sname)." *Nothing else said. How many dates do you go on before they're considered your boyfriend/girlfriend? I can imagine the OP's pain and she'll need to make a decision where to go from here but I know some people that "date" and one thinks it's more serious than the other does. At one point, a few need to have the "Where is this relationship going?" conversation. :P Do you have a key to each other's place and and a couple's Christmas card picture? Lol

My partner walked out on me 1month before our daughter was born. We were together for 9yrs. We lived together from the start & right up until he walked out, leaving me with rent and all the utility bills to pay, and 8 1/2 mths preg. Some men are so self involved and egotistical that if they no longer have a use for you or lose interest in you, then they severe all ties and look for the next thing to inflate their already pompous attitude and damn whatever happens to anyone else.
