Today, I was working at my job as cashier. This really attractive girl who often comes in walked in, so I mustered up the courage to ask her out by writing my number on a dollar bill. She paid and the amount her change happened to be a dollar. I go to hand her the money when she sees it and says, "Keep the change!" FML

If someone came up to you and just wordlessly handed you their phonenumber, would you really be inclined to call them? I don't see how this is considered a reasonable strategy for asking someone out. Surely asking for their phone number is a better way to show interest, because honestly just expecting some stranger to call you because you gave them your number is a bit arrogant.

and it was a perfectly good dollar bill.... think about it for a sec, really, that dollar bill will get spent again and again, and then a lot of people will have seen a dollar bill with your phone number on it. talk about stupid, you could've at LEAST put it on a piece of paper that you put behind the dollar bill or something.

Maybe it's cause i'm really really hung over? Maybe it's because I went to bed at 6am this morning and had to be up by 8? Forget the dollar... you should have just told her "If I received a nickel for everytime I saw someone as beautiful as you, I'd have five cents" or "I am a pirate and I'm after your booty". Trust me, this is sage advice. Women just can't resist a good creepy pick up line.

What makes you think she would ever go out with u for a dollar? U should have gave her extra change in the shape of a $50 dollar note with ur number on it if shes enough of a S*** then she'll be into it ;P dont actually try it. U'll get arrested
