Today, my 13 year-old son had a seizure in the middle of his history class. We were at the hospital for three hours and several expensive tests later he informed me he faked the seizure so he could get out of a group presentation. He was so proud that he was such a good actor. FML

Take that money spent out of any gifts/allowances he was going to get in any future holiday or birthday. Maybe that will teach him not to do something so serious.

I'm not even going to lie, that's pretty impressive.

(Sigh) Kids will be kids. But yours... Have you tried an exorcism.

#24 I think a spanking is better for this situation.

I think 13 is a bit old for a spanking...

#70 I'm 16 and I still know that if I pulled a stunt like this kid did my momma would whoop my ass in a heartbeat

83- Hell, I'm a grown woman living on my own and my mom would still beat my ass if I acted like this. Although she rarely had to during my childhood. If I was acting like a little shit, giving me a look and saying "I brought you into this world and I will take you right back out of it" was enough to stop me from misbehaving

Maybe you should put him in some acting classes to further his career as an actor

The awkward moment when he wins an Oscar, but Leo doesn't.

OP explain to your son that while he was treated he has taken resources from someone who does need treatment

Haha! I tried faking a seizure in high school to get out of Brit Lit. Didn't work. Pro tip- pee your pants.

#28 you'd pee your pants get out of a presentation? Seems a little desperate

I have epilepsy and I can tell you this is not the way to get people to believe you

Thats impressive, possibly a future actor! though, sorry about the bills

I'm a board-certified neurology tech with 34 years professional experience. Tell your little darling if he has another "seizure" he won't get a drivers license until he turns 21. (It's a lie -- but he won't know that!)

I'm in California & depending on the type of seizures, you may be permanently banned from getting a license until you can prove you're no longer at risk of getting one.

I had to prove i was able to drive years after passing out. So, it can be true yes. Also, i would never advocate lying like that. A lie for a lie?

As an epileptic who had to prove this very thing with multiple EEGs. I can attest that this is true.

This kid is going places. Not college, but places.

Well I mean was he really prepared for the project???? I mean Psh but no in all seriousness I'm sorry that happened

thats why u got a policy in germany for your health...

So everybody's taxes can go up the wazoo every time some little shit decides to **** around like this? Yeah, no thanks.
