I'm going to go out here on a limb and guess that only about about a tenth of the people who are whining about her feeling like she's entitled had to physically buy there own car. I know I didn't, but my parents made a deal with me and I got a job and paid about 150 a month for the car insurance. This FML isn't about how much she felt like her parents owed her a car. It's about her getting her hopes up and then getting caught in a practical joke by her parents. People take the internet way to seriously these days...
OWNED. Oh man, that is just classic. I love it. Owned so hard.
my parents did this to me on my 16th, as well as my brother, but it was received with more laughter because a. we're both car freaks, especially me and b. we both knew not to expect that kind of thing. of all the cars i've owned, my parents bought one, and that was because the one i had died unexpectedly, i had no moeny and i was about to start a new job. bottom line:you're not entitled to shit.
OP is an spoiled idiot, really deserved it. Begged one whole year for a car? Well, as far as I know, in the US, one year of burger flipping is enough to buy a low-end car. Get your shit together, work, and buy it yourself. Also, did the OP fail to notice the current crisis? Maybe his parents are holding the money for the worse. Lavishly spending at these times is really not smart, and it is what got us to this point in the first place.
Hahahaha! Great one! I love your parents. #23 That's ******* amazing, thanks for sharing dude. *23y / 300km/h?* Don't crash! :)
Welcome to the real world, where you have to actually work to get nice things.

:-) That's basically what my family did to my brother, only we used a model BMW. You kind of deserve that - car's aren't toys and they are expensive to buy and worse to insure. Get a job and pay for it yourself. Best of luck!
I wouldn't mind getting Hot Wheels cars...
