Slippin' and a-slidin'

Today, I was on the subway. I have fairly serious OCD, so I avoided holding the poles or handles. All the seats were taken, so I leaned against a wall. At the next stop, an obese, sweaty man got on and grabbed the two poles around me, effectively hugging me. My shirt was wet when he left. FML

I hate it when fat sweaty people do this. But it could have been worse. You could have been stuck on a 7 hour flight somewhere with this guy next to you.

Even if you factor out your OCD that is a revlolting story. Oh god thinking about it is making my skin crawl. Bleurgh!

Oh, sweaty people are nasty. I would have told him to back off right away. Even if it was crowded, there was no reason for him to have to grab both poles. Ewww....

OCD = Obessive Compulsive Disorder. Sounds like you're more a germaphobe, not OCD. I have mild OCD. My mother is a germaphobe. There is a big difference. But on topic; EWW. I cannot stand people invading my (albeit relatively small) personal space uninvited. Ugh.

Ew, creepy. I'm not exactly a small guy, but damn, at least I keep my fluff to myself. That's just sick on about nine different levels. #50: Agreed, I'd've probably kicked one of his kneecaps backward and revelled in the newfound ability to breathe.

I have OCD myself. I would have likely freaked out (I also have Aspergers) and ended up beating the crap out of him and getting taken to jail =/ You're lucky you aren't like me

To #36: OCD is to do with both neurology and psychology, you really should research something before challenging people who have first hand experience with OCD who obviously know a lot about it. And the whole germophobe thing - people shouldn't classify others without knowing that individual's situation - it may or may not be OCD, either way, it's not a nice thing to have. And it's not all about just repetition and trying to be clean. Also ew that is just gross anyway, poor you. And suffering from the OCDness of it is also horrible.

Oh, goodness. D: That's awful- I have rather severe OCD myself, I probably would have just started crying right then. But I avoid public transportation altogether- I can't even pay to get on, so luckily that'll never happen. @36 Wow. >> Just wow.
