The weirdos are reproducing

Today, while grocery shopping, I was having such terrible abdominal pains I could hardly walk. As I'm 8 months pregnant, I told my husband we should head home. He thought a better idea was to run through the store and hide from me, hoping to induce labor by making me chase him. FML

Wow what a jerk. It is not a time for games when your love is in serious pain.

What the **** is wrong with your husband?

It seems to me, he is really looking forward to be a dad, and he just tried to become a dad sooner

It's great that he's excited about being a dad, but that doesn't excuse showing that excitement at the expense of his wife, who was probably mid-Braxton-Hicks. And did he really want to make his poor wife go into labor right there in the grocery store with everyone staring? Inconsiderate behavior, all around.

Haha! Your husband is a hilarious man! What a great joke to play on the mother of his child, the woman he supposedly loves! Ha. Ha ha ******* ha. I sincerely hope that stupid shit like this is isolated. What he should be doing is running around doing whatever you ask, including taking you to hospital if necessary.

I'm adding this to the list of reasons why men should be able to get pregnant too.

I hope "Yakety Sax" was playing over the store P.A., and then you go on to name your kid Benny Hill.

And this guy's about to become a father. Hopefully your kid takes after you rather than him.

Looks like you should be the one running and hiding away.

YDI for choosing to marry such an immature twat.

Aw, stop being so harsh. He's a man, he thinks on terms A and B, if he hears his wife bitch about something he's probably thinking "I can fix this problem."

i agree, he probably thought that would genuinely help, bless him. also, im expecting the massive thumbs down for this, but i found this FML really funny. but then again im not pregnant and in agony :/

He probably did think it would help. When I was pregnant, one of the classes my fiance and I took told us that walking around a lot while having contractions can help induce labor. Maybe OP's husband wanted to help get her labor moving along.

I'd say it was a joke, in bad taste I guess, but I doubt he was doing it seriously... And she didn't have to run after him. I'd have stood there and waited it out until he realised he was being silly.. or started heading back to the car.
