Today, a guy in a fancy car tailed me for twenty minutes, just so he could take a picture of my license plate and tell me there's a $300 fine for flicking cigarette ashes out your window. FML

Today, I was tailgated by a car with his high beams on for an hour. Any time I changed my speed or lane, he would do the same. I finally managed to get away from him because a cop pulled me over and gave me a speeding ticket. FML

Today, I was pulled over by a motorcycle cop for speeding in a 25 MPH zone. As the cop was walking towards my car, I flicked my cigarette butt out of my window. So, the cop did me the pleasure of writing me two tickets instead of one. FML

Today, a cop almost rear-ended my car, slammed on the gas with no warning, swerved around me, flipped me the bird, then cut me off and then drove a full ten miles under the speed limit. When I changed lanes to overtake him, he pulled me over for road rage. FML

Today, the car in front of me was going slow and I flashed my lights and honked. I floored it and passed the car, flipping off the driver. Just as I went around the next corner I got pulled over by a motorcycle cop. A few seconds later, the guy I flipped off drove by honked and waved. FML

Today, after driving a few hours late at night I decided to entertain the car tailgating me by not letting him pass. After doing this for 3miles, reaching 93MPH, I decided to let the car pass me. When I switched lanes, the car tailgating me light up in red and blue. It was a cop. FML

you should have gotten his name and asked him to call an officer, get a ticket then sued that guy for $350 for stalking and tailgating. then you could leave the courtroom with a smile saying "thanks for the 50 bucks!"

its not just the following, its the fact that he follows him to the location then approached them. with the Florida thing still going on its a good possibility that they could win the lawsuit. the judge would be more against the guy in the fancy car than the one being followed due to the fact that he isn't a cop but is trying to act like one by taking an insignificant matter into his own hands. also there have been more cases won for larger sums for more insignificant ordeals. moron.

I hate drunk assholes who think the world is their personal raceway. But I'm not telling you to stop drinking am I? Some people just ash out the window and put the butts in a cup of some sort. Ashes don't hurt the world. Or there wouldn't be controlled forest fires ever year to replenish the soil.

I think it's stupid to flag OP that they deserved it. Whether you agree with smokers or not, it's BS that someone is charged a $300 fine for flicking ashes. I could see getting it for flicking the butt, but ashes, really?!? That's stupid. Not to mention the psycho stalker, Mr. Uppity Do-good, chasing OP around being a total douche. 1. That guy was creepy and did not need to follow you around like a stalker. However, you need to stop thinking that just because you have a habit it means that allows you to do as you please. Flicking out burning embers can cause fires.
