Today, a police officer gave me a ticket for smoking. He told me that my parents would have to be contacted to come pick me up. My drunk dad came to the rescue, and almost hit the police car. Way to go dad. FML

They deserve it no matter what since the officer caught them doing something wrong. Boners (comment 7) should look at this comment too. Anyway. They could be caught for doing any of the following: -smoking underage. -smoking weed if they are in a place where it is illegal. -smoking weed while/before driving (it's still a DUI, people). -smoking in a bus shelter (yes, I've seen people busted for that since the hub itself had a sign that said "No smoking"). -smoking inside a building. -smoking in a car with passengers younger than a certain age, which I can't remember offhand because I don't smoke and don't need to care about that law. -smoking any other illegal drug.

If you care to read the part where I said "they deserve it no matter what..." you would note that I did in fact comment on the FML, and gave reasons why they may have deserved it since THAT information wasn't given in the FML itself.

Smoking to look cool? No thats just in old ciggarette comercials and young children, if you opened your eyes a bit youd probably see that there are other non-retarded reasons that people pick up smoking. People tend to forget the profit from smoking and just focus on the loss. Having a widend perspective makes it easier to understand arguments from both sides. Yes I know some people dont like the smell of smoke, but that is your opinion.

what are the profits from smoking? bad teeth? bad lungs? cancer? wasting money? everything smelling like cigarrettes? getting stressed out and pissed off if you dont have regular smoke breaks? your still reading this? but seriously, smoking is bad mmmk

WTF does smoking give you that's positive? thanks to second hand smoke, I have asthma and will all my life.
