My mom does the same thing to me, OP. No matter what my condition, it's my duty to keep the house looking mighty fine. I was once so sick that I could barely stand and I was still expected to clean the house. It happens.
if you actually had the flu for a week you'd be in the damn hospital or dead by now. and it's not like you gotta be in tip-top health to drag a broom across the floor and put dishes in the dish washer.
your moms a bitch.
She's right. Otherwise your body will atrophy.
i just got a profile & i dont know how to put a picture up. can anyone tell me how?(:
#70 There should be a little doo-dad to the right of the page that says "My profile", "My messages", "My favorite FML" and "My account." Next to "My profile", it should say "Edit." Click that. Upload a picture. Ta-dah! You're welcome.
Take hours to clean one thing and maybe she will get fed up and just do it herself!

C'mon, slack-ass! You've been a parasite to your family for a week, it's about time you do a little work. She IS allowing it to be done slowly -- that woman is a saint!
if you've been in bed for a week, ure actually making it worse by staying in bed. you actually have to get up and do stuff if you want to get better - no joke. that doesn't mean scrubbing the floor with a toothbrush, but it's a good idea to walk around, get the mail, do the dishes, sweep the floor.. something light. u have to fight the sickness or you just keep feeling worse
