Not being able to tell the difference between $2 and $101 is too drunk to drive. YDI completely. Stop complaining and be grateful you didn't kill someone instead.
hmm a few beers to make you mistake a 100 for some 1s? maybe not.
So you've learnt 2 lessons today. 1) When drunk, it's hard to tell between the $1 and $100 notes. Consider removing the $100 notes before a night on the booze, or moving to a country that has $1 coins so it's impossible to mistake them. 2) It's never a good idea to drive home when you've been drinking. Heck, the damage can be done way before risking your life and the lives of everyone on the road by drink-driving. Not to mention the fact that a DUI ticket is probably a little more than $100...
he never said he was drunk, although he was still being stupid if he drank a couple and not just one, and he sold have just been a moron for not paying attention to his money and carring a $100
That's what you get for being a prick and carrying around $100 bills.
First, the legal limit in most states is a BAC of .08. For most drinkers a few beers won't even get you close to that. Second, it is probably safe to say that everyone who has ever carried cash has given someone the wrong bill by accident at some point. Third, even if the OP can afford to carry 100s in his wallet, it can still be an FML. He could have easily used it for something much more 'fun' than tipping a valet. Fourth, people should realize that OPs don't post on this site because they want commenters to tell them that what they did was stupid. Most of the time there is a good chance they already know that. They post here because what they have to say is entertaining. At any rate, the guy should feel good for making someone's day regardless of whether it was intentional.
You deserved it. If you were so drunk you didn't realize that that $100 bill wasn't $2 (do they have $2 bills in the US? Canadian here. :S), you were far too drunk to get behind the wheel of the car, asshole.
you deserved it for being cheap TIP YOUR GODDAMN WAITERS/VALET PARKERS CHEAPSKATES
