Today, after having had sex with my girlfriend for the first time the night before, she went to the doctor. He said she's still physically a virgin. FML

just google the word hymen and you'll see that you can't "pop" it, having a hymen that completely covers the vaginal entrance is an abnormality that 1 out of 10 000 girls are born with, this is usually surgically fixed when the baby is born. And the doctor is an idiot, you can't prove virginity by the hymen, unless she is around 6 years old, wich I doubt

Actually the hymen covers SOME part of the ******. Yeah, there are rare cases where it completely covers the ******. And some women aren't born with it. But the hymen still does exist. I've found mine. Maybe you should do the same.

Okay men, time for a little lesson in female anatomy. 1. The hymen doesn't just go 'pop' and disappear during sex. You can cause tears in the hymen from many activities, sex included, but for most women, the hymen is not completely gone until after their first vaginal birth. 2. When women are aroused, they become naturally lubricated and the hymen becomes more flexible. This is why many women do not feel pain during their first time - because their boyfriends actually care about their pleasure and there is sufficient foreplay to arouse them, and they take it slow instead of just jumping into the *******. 3. This FML really states, "Today, I did not cause my girlfriend pain during sex, which makes me less of a man. FML." Do you guys really believe that by not injuring your girlfriend (which is what a broken hymen is), you're somehow less of a lover? If so, I'm glad I'm not your girlfriend, because anyone who WISHES me pain is abusive, even if they don't mean to be. 4. A doctor can't tell someone's virginity from their hymen. So many different things cause tears in the hymen that the average girl is not entirely intact when they first have sex. TL;DR, don't have sex if you don't how how your and your partner's bodies work.

Well said. Anytime I cause pain, I feel bad. I'm no proud of causing my gf comfort. And I am really sorry that her first few times were painful. Sex was a wonderful thing with her regardless, but I wish it didn't have to hurt for her.

people need to pay more attention to this comment...

Dude you should prob start taking like extenze or something

That's not all that uncommon. Some girls hymen's won't rip until the 2nd or 3rd time. Some even long after that! And size isn't always the reason it doesnt tear, so you can't assume that's the reason.
