I used Tetralysal which, yes is an antibiotic and takes ages to work, but it doesn't make the acne any worse than you start off with. I've been on it for about 16 months and my acne is a lot better than it was back then. it's just 1 capsule a day in the morning.

I have an acne product that helped me a lot . it's called zap-it! and it's really effective an cheaper that proactiv <--which has a lot of chemicals btw. just because it's on tv doesn't mean it's the best product in the world...

You didn't HAVE to tell her to have a nice day unless a manager was watching. I said that about 50% of the time when I worked retail and no one ever fired me. I quit cause I've had enough lol.

Proactiv didn't work for me either. But try going to acne.org. They offer a process that works with a variety of products, or their own. I use their products, which are way less expensive than Proactiv.

Accutane works but sometimes your acne comes back. Mine came back 6 months after treatment. Luckily, it made my skin more responsive to acne medication. Now at 24 I still have acne but at least I can somewhat manage it and hide it easier.
