Today, Dell's tech support called to tell me that the laptop I sent to them was going to cost an extra $300 to fix, because of the shattered screen. When I mailed my laptop to them, the touchpad wasn't working. The screen was fine. FML

So many things wrong with Dell. I think I'll add this to my list of reasons.

I'm sorry this happened, but you have to pack things like that so well a bomb can explode next to it. Otherwise fedex or ups will break it.

You know, there's this button fairly close to the power one that probably would have fixed your touch-pad problem, anyways.

This scares me because I just sent out my VAIO about 2 hours ago ti get repaired..

Tell that to them, not us! Man, OP i hate technical difficulties, though. ._.

Maybe they are trying to jip you ! Maybe the screen is fine and they just want to **** you over

Companies would never even do something like that...

Laptop screens aren't made of glass are they?

I think they're LCD screens, except not covered in glass like desktops
